Ace was born on
Centerpoint Station, his Mother & father where small time smugglers for
Talon Kardde & where killed when Ace was five.
At the age of 14 Ace was
taught by Talon Himself to fly his first Ship, An Old looking Imperial Shuttle.
He flew for Talon Kardde for about five years until one day he came across a
damaged Katana Class Ship. Ace thought his luck was in; he was looking for a way
out of smuggling & this looked like an ideal escape
route.
Just as Ace
was about to board the Katana ship another ship came out of Hyperspace,
immediately scanned the area and before Ace could do anything the ship started
firing it’s weapons - destroying the Katana Ship.
The only thing that saved Ace
was his Strengthened Shields. Firing up his weapons & engines Ace let go a
nasty Salvo of 20 Modified Heavy Rockets which hit the enemy ship full centre
disabling its shields, Ace then placed all energy to engines and he reversed
course away from the Enemy ship. His own ship was only carrying two Small Laser
cannons for defense. He then put a Hyperspace heading for the Core Systems, the
advantage of speed was the only thing that saved him from the deadly hail of
lasers coming from the enemy ship & the fighters coming out of its side
hangers.
During Hyperspace Ace went to
the communications panel & tried to get a message out, but the enemy had
jammed his signal. Five minutes after his jump he heard a beeping from his
scanners, Looking at the scanner he found something he wished he did not see -
the enemy was starting to close on his Ship. He queried his computer & was
told that the enemy ship would be in range in 30 minutes & his arrival
destination was still two hrs away!
