Spitfire
|
Strength from Cask - 4.5% Originally produced as a Battle Of Britain commemorative brew, Spitfire is now a permanent feature on the Shepherd Neame cask conditioned ale portfolio. Crafted from traditional varieties of malt, this golden ale combines an underlying depth of maltiness, tinged with a subtle hint of toffee, with the bold citrus and fruity spiciness of Kentish hops, to produce a well-balanced, thirst quenching, popular drink. Amongst the most highly regarded cask conditioned ales, Spitfire is a favourit tipple of mine, and was awarded the coveted Gold Medal at the International Brewing Industry Awards. Seeing as Raider has also a soft spot for a glass or two, it wasnt too hard to have it stocked in the Imperial Fried Chicken. So -To the fully stocked bar, where you can buy me that beer! |
